From the Creative Grab Bag Series: Photograph Strangers

Does anyone know how awkward this is? Seriously, I was like a photograph ninja. I didn't want it to be terribly obvious I was actually taking photos of people.

I went to fireworks on the 4th of July this year so I documented the people that were around me. It was some interesting folk around there.

Not too much to say about this one. Took the photos, put them together in photoshop and tadah.

Taking pictures of fireworks shows are fun, arent' they?
Be it the spectators or the fireworks themselves. ;)

Wow, what an unexpected exercise!

I can only imagine how awkward this could be. Luckily, it is a LOT easier to hide that sort of thing nowadays. The black ninja pajamas help, too. ;)

I like the way these are clearly completely spontaneous and unposed. Bit more honest in who they are, perhaps.

It was unexpected. The book had a few examples on how other people did this card..if I could have made it to first Friday in Phoenix, I probably would have had posed pictures.

But I opted the ninja route, even pretending to take a picture of Evan a few times just so I could get some of the different people.
